Reversing the effects of bias and prejudice in Eritrean politics
Forged as it was during the intense struggle for indepedence from Ethiopia, Eritrean politics has produced its own set of mores and culture. Bent more on religious outlook in the beginning, it moved to Marxist doctrine and then to half-hearted acceptance of western capitalism. During all such transformation, it has quickly inculcated on its people such biases and prejudices that cool headed communication has become a virtual impossibility.
